About me

I'm Brogio, a student, tech enthusiast, and programmer with a soft spot for privacy and open source. Most of what I do outside of coursework revolves around learning how things work under the hood and then rebuilding them my own way.

I'm big into self-hosting running my own services instead of renting someone else's, mostly because I like the control and the learning curve that comes with it. That's led me down a rabbit hole of open source software, home servers, and picking apart tools to see what makes them tick.

Privacy is something I take seriously, both for myself and as a general principle. I try to use software that respects that, and I'm always happy to talk about alternatives to the usual big-tech defaults.

When I'm not tinkering, I'm usually writing about whatever I've been building or breaking lately over on the blog, or you can find me hanging around on Discord or Mastodon.
